85 Turbo Trans Am

Re: 85 trans am!!!

Last I knew, the engine guys were saying Eddy cams are a little lazy profile-wise. Lots of folks like Lunati. Just saying maybe ask around if not sure on that. Theres no quality issue with either that I'm aware of. Glad you're steering clear of mystery reciprocating parts.

Re: 85 trans am!!!

My father in law has the eddy 7102 in his 55 Chevy and it's still a decent drive around town vehicle but lopes pretty hard and very responsive on the throttle

Re: 85 trans am!!!

It's like one of there biggest flat taps they make.and like you said I know how it performs. I appreciate the input.

Love the green. My favorite color. Maybe polish the living crap out of the upper? Throw some polished valve covers on and away you go.

Thank you and yes it will have a few shiny things and the plan is to paint vc green to then automotive clear coat everything so I can power wash engine bay

i was told not use the clear as it can turn brownish or dulls. just use car wash soap to clean the engine with, and it will keep its shine.

Hmmm interesting thanks Scotty. I just finished doing the rear cover seal and main seal on the block note hunting for some parts I need
