5x115 1" Wheel Spacers

Does anyone know where the best price is on 5x115 1" wheel spacers? i've looked around a bit and all the ones i'm finding are close to $70 a pair. Just wondering if anyone else has shopped around and found the best price....
 


Exactly. There was talk on another forum of using 5x4.5" which converts to approx 114.3mm but then you have to use plastic hub-alignment spacers and be super careful about torquing the lugs evenly. Seems like quite a PITA....

I just thought 1" spacers would be a cheap way to get a slightly more aggressive stance.
I'm a college student with nearly empty pockets or else i'd just get new rims....
 
The ONLY safe way to do it doesn't exist for our bolt pattern. You'll nee to get the spacers that bolt to the hub then the wheel bolts to the spacer, but they only come in 5x114.3 pattern.

So not only are the wheels not hub centric anymore, you have a double wrong bolt pattern.

Can you say vibration and wobble?

Dont do it. Look for a used set of 94-96 5 spokes. They'll give you the stance you're looking for and you can still use your current tires.
 
That seems a good route to go. Do the 94-96 wheels just have a different offset?
Also, i did find a company on ebay that will make hub-centric spacers in any bolt pattern for $140... would this be another good option?
 
Yes, they have a lower offset so they sit out further.

You can probably find a set of those wheels for about $200 or less at a bone yard. Spacers are not wheel bearing friendly even if you get hub centric ones.

sorry not to pester you with questions, but do you know the offset of my stock wheels? I've been looking all over the internet and can't find it anywhere...
 
thanks a bunch. i'm going to look into those wheels and maybe even newer ones like off an 04 or so. but then those will prolly cost so much i might as well go with aftermarket ones....
oh well.
like they say i'll just want in one hand and **** in the other and see which gets me farther....
 


I have a set of 1 1/4" spacer/adapters on my stock rims on my 99 LS1 Trans Am and they work great. I love the stance. I have considered a 1" spacer/adapter but i think I would have to roll my fenders due to being lowered. Go ahead and do it. I saw a post over on clubgp.com and the stance looked nice.

But the bolt pattern on those cars is very common. The only car that teh 5x115 spacers like that are made for are Maximas from what I have found. They also have a smaller hub bore and wont work on our cars.
