4.1kr Stock

Got the aeroforce in and went wide open. Got a peak of 4.1kr. Normal? I'm honestly surprised because I was expecting more

That's what I was seeing with the two l67s I've had when stock. Some tend to have a bit more some are lucky and have less. Weather octane and location can be a factor that will skew the results.

Clay's car had 4.0º but now has 0.7º peak and then it's just a blip

I had 4.2* after installing a downpipe. Cooler spark plugs, intake, and tune have done nothing. Also replaced motor mounts and dogbone mounts. In fact, the tune raised peak KR to 5.0*, where it lies today.

If this is normal it explains how people chip pistons when installing smaller pulleys on stock motors with only intakes and downpipes... I'm only seeing a max of 2.0 kr for a fraction of a second at around 100 mph at WOT e85 Rocks!

Well my next form of attack for kr is headers

So, weirdly, most of my KR is gone. I get a blip in the 1.8 range if I downshift from 4th to 3rd at ~60 MPH and 5.0 of KR when I downshift from 4th to 2nd instead. It goes away in a second or two and doesn't come back.

With that glaring exception I now run all the way up to 95 in 2nd with no KR now.

Stupid sway bar robbing me of my horsepower. Who needs cornering when you can go fast in a straight line.
