3800 lifter tick

If you guys are hearing lifter or injector tick... you got super hearing. Or your radio isn't loud enough.

There's your free fix of the day. I got 184K and I'm not hearing crap.

I can only hear mine tap with the hood down, window down, stereo off. Starts faintly at 1200RPM then stops around 1800RPMish. Only in first gear, after that road noise takes over.

All thirydumbhundreds are horrible noisy crapboxes. Really though guys.. I don't hear my 3800. Maybe it's cause I bumped the pressure a smidge?

mines about like this but i can hear it in first and second then it fades off as the road noise picks up

are you running the resonator still?
how does it sound? i am running without a cat, no resonator and a flowmaster 40 series and around 2k in every gear it is raspy as hell.
sounds like ass.

Well I'll describe how mine is setup. It was base... so I did the single exhaust to a single-to-dual Super 44 then bought a new valance. Made them come out both sides from the muffler. Then at first I had res cut... was way to raspy so I threw in a 24" glasspack. Sounds fairly decent now. Doesn't rasp nearly as bad. Nothing to awesome, but doesn't sound like total azz.

i pulled my perfectly good 3100 out to drop in a L67...all i got to say is wow
its like different car. Big difference in power. and i thought the 3100 ran good.nope.

if i wanted to go though all that then i would get a gt/gtp(which i plan to do) but i dont so the only thing im swaping it out for will be a 3400
