3800 alternator onto 3400 ?

Will this work ? Putting an alternator from a 3800 onto a 3400 ?

cross reference the numbers and see. I'm thinking they are the same if they are 99+

Looked up both 99 grand am and 99 grand prix, rockauto is showing a different part number. Looks like it might bolt up but it showing the grand am alternator is 102amp and the prix is 110amp.
