3400 pcm in the mini vans

Probably the dumbest question ever.....so ive had a couple of the 3400 olds silhouettes. They share the same apparant model number transmission as the 3800 gps ive had. Anyway, i know the 3400 is in other gm cars like the impala. Is it possible to swap the pcm from one of the cars into the mini van?

Im guessing no, so does anyone have any experience or knowledge of some simplish things to do to the minivans to possibly liven them up or get them to the same fuel mileage the 3400 cars get if nothing else. Any kind of tuning in them? I know the van bodies are capable of near same stats as the cars as people have swapped the engines out altogether for the 3800 s/c.

One guy took the subframe from his GTP...L67+4T65E and all...and tossed it in his Montana...which is basically the same thing. If I remember right, most of it fit right in without a hiccup...however I'd assume the PCM's might physically look the same, but most likely different.

Also: 3.4 isn't the same as the 3400 ;)

Yeah i know you can swap it all on the subframe. I have read about that and have always wanted to do that. But in the meantime....

Idk about the difference of the 3.4 and 3400.....point was other cars have the same engine as the vans. Impala for example.

Maybe i should have posted in tuning.
