Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

3.4 pulley safety mods. this one's different.

What kind of MPG do you normally get on e85? I'll be moving soon and maybe there will be some e85 stations...

If I treat it nicely which I admit I normally don't even mixed in town and highway I can get about 20 mpg average. In town driving and a heavy foot will put you in the teens for mpgs quickly. However when e85 is a 1.84 a gallon here in North Dakota I could care less what the mpg is.

Not bad, with 91 Octane at $2.20 (not sure what it is around you) and averageing 25 MPG, it's right at 9 cents a mile. With E85 at $1.84 your looking at almost 11 cents a mile. Not bad for the horsepower gain. I hope there is at least a few E85 stations around Ozark...

Blower whine alone is worth the difference in my book. Mpg's usually don't mean very much to me griping about the difference makes no sense, if people are that concerned about cost and mileage driving a modded car in the 1st place likely isn't very good on the wallet.

Ohh and its even more worth the difference when a STS-V, SRT-8 charger, 370z nismo, 5th gen SS, BMW E92 M3 just to name a few gets beat. LOL

IMO id do rockers before ic but then again ic is pretty much last last thing id do on a SC build.

also rockers will cost less than ic too.

Just remember you'll need better valve springs with the rockers. Not that much more expensive and still way less than the IC.

If the motor is out , why not cam it?
a s1x is totally streetable. Besides idle and performance boost, it drives the same

It is out. I just don't want to pay a half a ton for springs, chain, cam, retainers. I'd rather just do rockers. When I blow it again I'll think about it lol

An intercooler is a set-it and forget-it permenant method of KR reduction. With no e85 readily avail in ALL areas , people without IC will use meth injection to compensate.
So I agree and disagree but mostly agree and slightly disagree ;)
Thank You! e85 isn't available everywhere!!! IC method is everywhere... IC wins

The motors in the garage I want to cam it but at zzp it's like 1200 to get everything and the time. I kinda want to get it on the road

Shop around buy used cam for $230 or so and you can grab the rest from other places.

Intake doesn't matter.

4.2" pulley only exists on SSM90 kits; which blow.

L26 is a turd and can't hold any power.

Sorry about the ZZP canned PCM.

Sorry you also didn't go to Triple Edge for your transmission.

I suggest more research on your end. It helps tons.

With a stock pulley (3.8"), headers, and your other misc. business like thermo and plugs/wires should be fine.

The problem is getting a solid dialed in tune. Canned top swap tunes ain't gonna cut it. There are plenty of people in Wiscansen that can tune.

Then there is this car....

I wouldn't replace the bearings unless you are rebuilding. The bottom ends of these motors are touchy with that stuff. Once they are good (stock) they are pretty damned strong.

For a s1x / xp you don't need brand new parts per say. Get the cam ,springs (105s) and retainers from the classifieds.
Replace the timing chain and dampener. Buy new reusable rocker bolts and grab some gaskets
