• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

3.4 pulley safety mods. this one's different.

It did explode... But based on that logic I must ask.. How many L67 have you killed???? Are they super weak sauce too? :th_nanana:

Yup.

They all are.

But lets see.

1) ZZP canned file.
2) Failed injector.
3) 300k motor with gaskets that needed replaced and I was out of work so it was just tossed in and lost oil pressure.

But yeah; logic

L26 that was IC'd sitting in my garage now sans piston.

My L26 build back in 08 on E85....lost a piston. They can't take the beating like the SC blocks can. Never again for this guy.

Piston skirts breaking off, pistons chipping all around the top, cracks around the wrist pin, bending rods etc.

The N\A rods and skirts are all smaller AKA weaker, right? I thought it'd be a given than smaller and weaker components would make something weaker. I'm sure they hold their own and all, but when big power is the goal they just can't hold up, right?

Yeah, higher compression yields more power for sure, but those blocks aren't exactly the way to go for longevity.

I hope you don't think one can achieve BIG power with an m90. I've seen maybe 340 whp at most where turbo setups destroy that number.
