Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

3.4 pulley installed!!!!!

Just got done putting my car back 2gether. Changed out the lim gaskets and installed a rebuilt supercharger with a 3.4 pulley on it. I got a 3 inch catback split 2 2.5 inch dual turbo mufflers, 180 stat, al 104 plugs, 8mm accell wires, short ram intake, optima red top and now with that pulley the car is really flying. Cant wait to find some ricers on the road.
you need to get a DP/Powerlog or headers, you need a custom tuned PCM(not a zzp pcm) preferably from 3800performance.com(they have the DHP PCM which are rated the most safe off the shelf tune by the people on this site) and you could definitely use an air intake of some sorts. The cat back is a waste of money performance wise until you are making 350 WHP.... the exhaust is the most restrictive in the U bend and then the front manifold after that. The stock cat back is fine, performance wise. you should have read the "safely modding your 3800" thread in the general tech section first. Please read it now if you have not done so.....Good luck

i do have an air intake installed on the car. im getting a custom made 3 inch catless downpipe put on on thursday so it should help alot.

yes it will.......just make sure to do something with the stock manifolds before you drop that pulley size and a tune also..

Take off the pulley and put a stock one back on or stay out of the throttle...a T-Stat, Plugs, CAI, & DP are still not enough mods for a 3.4"

That was your problem.

If you had that much knock with those mods you have a REALLY bad tune. You don't need to throw mods at a car to reduce knock. Just tune it properly and you will get results.

This is false, you can't in no way possible just tune your knock away. Hey guys I might go get my snout machined and run a 2.6 I can tune all my knock down to 0*:th_jester:

actually...i bet you could have tuned it pretty well, but to have NO knock isnt believable. i bet you could get it down to a couple degrees. torque management has a lot to do with knock. until you tell your computer how much torque youre actually making then it just knocks on the big end because its doing that to prevent detonation by itself. i went from 10* to 1* with just tuning alone (on a 3.2 pulley, with the meth turned off [rockers/headers car]).

You had flow mods :p

but on a smaller pulley. you can run a 3.4 almost stock with the right tune and ONE flow mod...or two. (intake/downpipe)

I ran an open cone intake, DHP PCM, and 3.4 pulley and a U Bend delete for 70,000 miles and ran 13.9's all day with no trouble or harm to the engine. I had the PCM tuned for my mods with no additional exhaust work.

Having a ZZP PCM and having no knock is kinda like saying "I have genital warts, but I'm not having an outbreak...right now"

FAIL.
