ok guys so i have the mods listed in the sig soon to be accompanied by a 180 stat.....im completely untuned at the moment and im seeing like 5*-6* of kr! will a tune and colder stat kill most of that? ill prob end up going into trims and maf tune if necessary..

well i just realized my vac feed to the fuel pressure regulator wasnt on for the first drive with the pulley so im going to work now ill let you know if its any better....if i cant kill the kr ill just get a 3.5 or 3.6 for now thank god i went MPS :)

anyone that knows what they are doing when they tune your car can tune all that out. my car knocked up to 10* before i started tuning it without the meth and we got it down to within 1*.

it doesnt say it in your sig.....but you got the U bend gone(assuming it is gone with the headers)

Wow dude. Our cars r almost identical in everyway now. They look the same, and now have almost the same mods. Silver/black gtp haulin ass! Yeah I wish I would have gone with the mps. And I need to scan my car to see where I'm at on kr. It feels good but I don't have anything to compare it to

^^ Get Brian to HP Tune it...since we have '03's we could go half and half on the credits and it won't cost you over a hundred bucks.

right on. well, ive been wantin to get a tune for awhile. do you think at this point in my go fast stage is it even worth it to get a good tune? if so then im in bro. just let me know when you were thinkin

yes. your car with higher timing and better fueling will be WAY stronger than it is now.

sweet. so i guess my question is if you were at my stage in mods, where would you go next, considering im on a budget and i never really intend on doin any cam swap stuff, or bottom end stuff or anything like that.

When will people realize that getting your car tuned isn't just about performance gains??? IT WILL KEEP YOU FROM BLOWING IT UP!

As little as 5* of knock can cause serious damage. Believe that. :)

gettin a tune on next weekend most likely from fast katt...i plugged the fpr vac line back on and i see alot or 3* on my aero and i peak and 5* haha ...threw a 180 stat in today so fastkatt can make my fans correspond with it...hopefull i can get down to 1* of knock at least....i think the gator back belt (came with it is slippping...gonna get a 3.5 tensioner to tighten it up :) )

They do. I have the incorrect belt on my setup, with the wrong size idlers which provide no tension and the damn thing has never slipped once.
