275/35/18 on a GXP

i find aswell with my car being lowered it takes the ****ty roads alot better then smaller tires

275 on a 8" rim is overkill. You should have at least a 9" wide wheel for 275's

I really don't think its over kill for gxp's. People do it all the time. Actually I wish I had of ordered that size when I bought tires a couple weeks ago

If the price is not much different is a no brainer. I ended up with Hankook s1 noble 2's.

From the GXP members who have 275's they perform very well, not just for launching but handling as well. And we already have rims capable of fitting 275's so why not.

Actually the proper rim width is 9" for a 275 tire, but yes 275s will fit on a 8" rim with a little bulge. Who knows how much better a GXP handles with 255s up front, but it probably has more to do with the Bilsteins , bigger say bars etc..

I tend to agree I think 275s are useless on these car, weather it be a GXP or GTP. 245s are more than enough. I dount I would see a difference going from my 245s to 275s. Just more weight since the tires will weigh more. Im not trying to be negative. Just stating my opinion.

I will say this Eagle F1s are bad ass tires, but my god I would never pay almost 2K for some tires.

I like the tires but they threw my speedometer off too much. Called the tire place and they agreed to replace them with 40 series tires. I sure hope this doesn't cost me more money
