• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

20's & Trannies

So which ones tuck inside the fenders more? the 35's or 42's. I don't quite understand how offsets work. I've been trying to figure it out but I just cant get it to sink in. Higher number = closer to the car? Or farther away (sticking out more)?

get +42 if you plan to lower your car but theres barley a difference it goes by mm and 7mm isnt much from 35-42 never goin to tell a difference mine you can because between the 2 cars my wheels are wider on the black gtp and i can still have ppl in the back and a full trunk and my shyt dont rub:th_thumbsup-wink:

Its distance from the mounting hub of the rims.

Higher number, the closer they will be to the struts. It will bring them in.

Lower number will push them out. You also have to take in account of width of wheels too..

Play with this some. It will help you.

I am just thinking that they are going to look too big if they aren't tucked in a little bit more than the +35mm offset. Is anybody with a +35 offset able to take some pictures down the side of the car? I'm mostly interested in seeing the front.

Not on 20 but you get the idea.
