2016 Buick Regal GN/GNX

Push rods, no direct injection, no variable valve timing, mechanical water pump!? Jesus that cts-v engine is archaic!

Regal was supposed to be twin turbo v6 and awd ages ago when the current gen body was released. GM will fvck it up I can almost promise that.....

Until its on dealer lots I wont believe it.

A 400plus HP twin turbo v6 from the ats-v/cts v sport would be pretty badass.

the n/a 3.6 makes 300hp so 2 turbos only add 100hp maybe little more? doesnt sound right

Wut.

Obviously lower compression, so that would lower output.

Obviously doesn't have stupid manifold in head design.

It's the same as the V-Sport...if they even make it. They're probably K04's of the like or even a smidge smaller. The V-Sport makes a "rated" 420~hp/430 TQ...and the standard 3.6 DOHC is 300~/270TQ. Which is 120+HP/160TQ over stock. That isn't that bad at all considering the lower psi #'s...you just have to compare.

forced induction engines have come a long ways since 2000, considering the eaton m90 either added 40 hp or 60 hp. smaller turbos mean faster spooling, plus more efficiency so getting another 100 hp from a pair of turbos and still being able to run mid grade with 30 mpg is pretty cool. I am skeptical on the release of the grand national as well.
