Those installation prices, Yikes. No way I could afford that. The only reason, I'd have someone else install a cam for me, if I ever went that route, is because the guy who would do it only said he'd charge $200 + Gaskets if he didn't have to swap springs. Now that's cheap.

I understand the feeling of not wanting to "screw anything up" but how else you going to learn if you don't try? I'd much rather work on my car myself, and be able to say I did it.

If it comes down to you doing the installation yourself, i'll be more than happy to drive your way and lend a hand as much as possible. I mean, I am a certified Mechanic now ;)

Thats true, it's a lot more by legit racing shops though. And this guy will take care of it if something were to go bad down the road. We will see, like I said, it will be a little while anyways.

lower the front to offset the gaps front to rear. you want the front to look lower.

Yeah it'll get there, just finding the time. Possibly today or this week. The rear definitely needs to come up a little and the front down a tad to close up the little wheel gap it has.

Just shy of 27" all the way around from ground to fender center. The fronts are maxed out right now. Basically because of the poly bushings and bearings stacked up. It is good for me though. I'll check the ride later then get an alignment this week. Once the bushings break in a little they start to collapse (infamous for it) and that will lower it a bit more for the front. I'll have to ask others how theirs gets lower. its evn though and good for me, I still want a decent ride.

Picked up some solo axle backs today. Has the 3 inch tips on them. Should I just stick the 3.5s or 4's on? I'm leaning towards the 3.5s
Those j pipes are on there to eliminate the drone and does a pretty good job from what I hear. Excited to hear the roar after I install them.

Well I was going to install the new axle backs and 1 bolt on each side snapped on me. I tried drilling them out and using easy outs with no luck. Had to wait till I had time to bring it up to the exhaust shop to Torch them out. So now they're doing that, installing the new and then swapping over to the 3.5 inch solo tips for me right now.

A shot yesterday, tip less. Been like that for over a week now lol.

New axle backs on, a little bit louder than before. Next I want to either put a borla mid muffler instead of the magnaflow, or just throw an xpipe on it. I'll drive this for a while then decide. I just don't want it too loud with the xpipe after a cam eventually goes on. So that's why I'm just thinking a borla mid muffler instead.
Kooks mid headers, hi flow cats, Magnaflow 18 inch mid muffler, Solo Performance axle backs with j pipes, 3.5" solo Performance tips.

They seem a little crooked but they go with the angle of the diffuser. Not sure if it'll bother me or not yet.

Yup, j pipes. It reduces drone. So far it doesn't seem to have any. I was riding around for a week with no axlebacks and had some pretty bad dtone. Those seem to have taken care of it all.
