One BadAzz GT Dawgg
recently bought a 2005 comp g, black on black interior, has k and n air filter only mod that I can tell.

hit a deer, and leaks very little oil out of valve cover, its 2 quarts down on oil but has not leaked any since I bought it a couple weeks ago and about 750 miles, check engine light is on.

bought new headlight for 40$ on ebay, and looking for cheap parts, found a hood and fender for only 150$ same color and they pull from other vehicle, need upper and lower bumper and thats about it for body parts

only paid 3K for it, and has a clear title, not sure what mods it has tbh, i asked the guy and he said none and then I pointed out the k and n and he said that was only one

has 116K miles on it, check engine and service trac+ service stability comes on every once in awhile, goes away if i turn car off and turn back on, only comes on when i turn the car on, seems like only when i dont let all the dash lights come on and go off before starting

thoughts on this? Im thinking about 500$ in body parts+ some cash to my uncle to install them, and a little engine work and it can sell for 6500+, drove it two and half hours home without problems
 


I've been debating selling mine once it's running good but my dd is falling apart so I might just keep it.
 
What you going to get though when the GTP has finally had enough. Might as well treat yourself to a nice car like the comp g.

3k isnt too bad for this car? needs new 6x9 speakers, which its putting them in which is the hard part, even with oil coming out of the valve cover? drives fine.
 
No that isn't to bad since it runs and drives good. I'd swap the lim gasket and valve cover gaskets.
 
I see, im getting oil changed on wednesday I hope and shop checks everything from struts to why the engine is leaking to how much brake pad is left, see exactly whats wrong and why. Going to put two type x 12" with 2400 watt amp prob into it if nothing major is wrong.

You probably want to check back with there estimate of problems before you spend money at a shop, unless of course you want to put their kids thru college

My uncle is body mechanic, he will do all body fixes as long as i find the parts, ill give him some money to do it aswell, and seeing what it needs mechanically my uncle might be able to do that aswell. the shop that would actually work on it is the audio shop putting the system in the trunk :th_thumbsup-wink:
