Title pretty much says it all. I'm going to move away from the engine modding for now and just go for looks.

I have a 06 GT and was wondering what offset the rims can be and what tires will fit without looking like a rubber band , and will not rub when turning. Thinking 245/45/18?

I am looking at the SSC springs unless anyone has better options. Vogtland would be my second choice.

Oh and as far as the kyb struts, what is the best option , as most people I see on lowered cars seem to run that brand the most. Also wondering about

Anti pogo washers
Top hats
Mounts

And anything else I may need.

I did go through the sticky on lowering but am just looking for a little updated info. Thanks

I run 245/45 18s on my '02. I just switched from KYB gr2s to the agx's. Its like night and day with my ssc springs. partsgeek.com has a set of agx's for around 440 shipped.

Thanks man I was wondering about the comparison between the 2. I probably should have put this in the suspension section as its more of that topic.

I know the pattern is 5x115 , but the offset confused me. In the sticky above it said stock tires were a 52 offset. But when using "up to " an 8.5 inch wide rim you can change the offest to 38-48 I believe it was.

Now I would like a wider looking stance , so does the lower offset# just push the tires out a little more?

Just trying to basically find out what wheel width and offset I need , to go with what 18" tire size. So I can start looking

You can fix any axle vibrations with 20 bucks, its just a spacer for the motor mount. Install them while doing the springs.

I waited till after I did a drop on SSC springs, still only took an hour.

They say the drop on those springs you posted is 1.4in, I bet you wont even get 1in of drop.
