• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

2000 turbo regal v.notSnowflake *now with more flames*

How did you end up doing the multiple stages of boost

some com failure between the puter and the dyno control hardware. we tried valiantly for nearly 3 hours to fix it/try workarounds....hopefully in the next two weeks it'll be fixed and we can try again
at least I get more time to play with the stacked ICM's and autometer tach adapter

I really want to see what it'll do, such a downer....I really wanted to see how loud the direct velocity stack was

its stunning how the JMB intake tube is able to fit....it does need work, and really some of the sheetmetal above the tube should be removed

Besides that engine thing distracting me, some sort of modern day art project, how do you have the license plate attached?

I bolted down the extra tall heat sink base and the dual ICM's.
the ICM seems to be kept from the engine heat, though it ends up at the air temp of the air flowing through the "cool" side fo the radiator

the splitter harness also has an autometer tach driver wired into the ICM's power feed. I now have a good clean tach signal that has excellent resolution down to 400rpm dips.
its also setup to let me kill the slave ICM for back to back dyno tests....lets see if it helps.

we should now have no problem triggering the dyno rpm pickup and be able to make 1500rpm+ pulls so I can see the tq curve as it'll easily climb another 1200-1500rpm on the converter even at that low of an rpm

anyways onto the dual ICM's / ICM stacker
idle firing voltage shows a gain of 2-6kv on average

id like to make a plug fixture that would let me check the loaded firing voltage on the positive and negative firing sides.

I think it would be best to run a few ICm's with the dumb coil near plug's mounted to the valvecovers

The lower ball joints I've set aside for now I'm waiting to come across more 3/8 stainless plate.
Right now I'm making a fixture to be able to machine the sleeve for at the correct angle

even with some teething issues with the MS3pro we put in a 85 GT 4 eye, I would tottallyyy run it
built in timed/rpm/gear dependant boost, afr safety kill, 3 step, anti lag...true 16x16 tables, LSx coils...etc

oh **** yeah, id be on that like it was a supermodel

but yeah, its about 1k to get it going with the required add on CAN module for the additional GPIO's for the 4t65e controls
