2000 gtp

I have a 2000 Grand Prix GTP that I'm looking to get rid of due to the fact that where the rocker panels mount to is rusted; so basically the frame of the car is starting to get rusty. It needs a lot of other little things too (new radiator, both rear window regulators need to be replaced, to name a few) and my husband feels like I need a more family friendly car anyway. I want to put the car on craigslist and price to sell it for the engine mainly, as the engine is fantastic. It runs smooth with no ticking or knocking. It only has 95,xxx miles on it. If it were up to me I'd get another Grand Prix and keep this one to harvest parts from but hubby says no way. He's sick of Pontiacs. (I had a Bonneville previous to the GTP.) I have no idea how to price this! Anyone want to suggest what I can reasonably expect to get for a car in this condition?

*If I posted this in the wrong area, I apologize.

CAR2013-02-19_15-46-34_770.jpg This is the pic my phone could take. My phone's batter is nearly dead, so it won't let the flash go off again. This is the rear drivers side. The rust is all the way through and where the rocker panel "clips" on beneath is all rusted.

If you wanna salvage the car.. call around or search craiglist for someone who does rocker pannel repair. It has. Very low miles if you wanna sell it as is..you shouldn't have a problem getting 3500 to 4000 for it.

Seems a bit high IMO. You might can squeeze 2k from the right buyer. Those are low miles but the body is bad shape as you stated.

Rust? What rust?

Holy rust, Batman! My baby does not have nearly that amount, although she's on her way. Every time my son scooches off the seat to get out of the car, his little foot knocks more of my car off. I'm crying on the inside that I didn't take better care of the car. New England winter is not kind on our cars, especially with the amount of salt they use in my area. This is the car I brought my son home from the hospital so add the sentimental factor into just loving the freaking car because it's such a fun and quick S.O.B. *Siiiiggghhhh*
Thanks for your help guys! I wicked appreciate it.
