2000 gtp multiple problems....HELP

Last night my 2000gtp started miss firing terribly while i was driving....it sounds like it is starving for fuel or ...clogged cat....but what has made this difficult is my car has not thrown a CEL..while the car is spuddering while i drive ALL of my lights are flickering on my gauge cluster, the fuel gauge falls to zero....and my tach drops off...ive already swapped pcms and checked the icm for corrosion along with my battery...what else could be causing this problem? Im completely lost...

i would think thats the ignition switch and harness has gone bad.

the flashing cluster lights is a sign on a regal that that switch has gone bad.

not to bad to change.

Thats all as of now....other then cheap exhaust...cherry bombs i think....i just bout it a few moths ago...i just took it to the store and it wont hardly idle...it idles like it has a huge cam in it...i can also smell something hot....

The video was helpful but mine actually flashes intermittently while im goin down the road....almost as if someone is cutting the power while im driving...yet with all of this going on, the idling and lights, why am i not getting any codes or check.engine lights

You need to go back to the stock pulley before you blow your car up if you haven't already. You need more mods before you slap a 3.4 pulley on it.

Well i just drove home from work...car ran like ****...when i got home.i looked under the car at the CAT...it was glowing light red ubefore and after the CAT...should the actual cat be glowing red to.confirm that its clogged or do u guys think minw is still clogged??

Agreed, the cat converter should never be glowing red.

And im with the other guy on the pulley situation.

Having a 3.4 on there is just going to cause you to chip a piston and need a new motor. I'd advise you to return to stock pulley size until correct flow mods have been added.

Ok...now can i just cut that cat out and replace it with a straight pipe? I know i sound pretty dumb but im just used to the old school stuff lol and im on an EXTREMELY limited budget...

Iguess i still dont understand why my gauges are tweeking out while i drive...is it the cat causing this? Possibly cause the car to shut down and reset the gauges?

Just cleaned every ground i could find, still running terrible....starting to lean towards the ignition switch...car just died during the test drive...went to restart it and it just clicked....reset the key to off after i tried turning it a few times and car fired right up...
