2000 GTP engine knocking. What are engine options?

I know this has probably been answered a hundred times, but I couldn't find a clear answer. The car has the L67 I believe. It has a bottom end knock. What is the difference between the L67 and the n/a version? Is the bottom end the same? Heads? I know from the heads up are different, I'm really just curious about heads down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know the N/A has weaker connecting rods and a higher compression ratio as well.

In terms of rod strength L32>L67>L36>L26

You can use any 3800 series 2 or 3 bottom end but you'll need the sc heads on up. If you go with a na block it's higher compression so you'll need to keep your KR in check somehow.
