Exactly...you just gotta get all the parts written down and what you need, then go FS Section shopping...that'll get your cheap parts.
 


can some one who has did itl ist every sigle little part i read the thread butive seen like 3 threads and all have something added or not on list can some one please give the best list that they used?
 
I have not done it so I dont have a list.....if you can get the parts that cheap then go for it, you probably wont be able to find them all cheap all at once overnight, but if you are patient you should come across some good deals. Start looking for someone to custom tune it as it is a must before top swapping or your car might not even start without the tune......

you mean make sure some one can tune it after the swap is complete so i dont have 600 dollars in prts in my car with no tune?
 
yeah........so you dont have a new lawn ornament.........so you can actually start it and move it if you wish....

I AGREE do a top end swap if you can afford it??? Just finished mine on a 98 gt and im very happy... of course i have plenty of other bolt ons but for the money its the best upgrade? Look into it I got all my parts at a junkyard for 500 bucks...

alrighty dude ya like i said ima start lookin into it maybe do it this winter it souds fun when theredone:) yaa imma strt lookiin i guess you have trouble finding them?
 
No not really the 3.8 is a popular motor to come across, i just took my time and made sure i found one with decent miles so i had a better start lol
