my grand prix has a complete custom inside and out side is getting a body kit installed and all fresh paint. im looking to start doing mods to the engine to make it faster and i was wondering what mods i could do to the engine that are quick and eaisy that make a difference in performance. im looking at getting zzp 1.0 pcm eventually i would like to go turbo but am just wondering what options are out there.

thanks - luke

haha, you are going to have a body kit. just leave it slow and save us all the hassle of explaining what it takes to make these cars fast.

there is nothing you can do to your car to make it fast without going FI. until then drive your slow, ugly car.

well I would say don't get a body kit. Grand prix + bodykit = fail. And don't get a zzp pcm, get a different one or have your stock one tuned. But you should read the safely modding your 3800 powered car thread

i just bought a pcm from 3800performance.com for my 01 gt and it is AMAZING! i recommend getting one from them

as far as the tune...if you can find someone to do it locally would be the best way. Custom tunes are way better than the mail order tunes......as far as the intake I would make my own, or if you dont want to make it, get one from TDC racing....There are many ways to do each.........just up to you as far as preference.

do not waste money on L36 mods!!!!! 200 for a hv3?? save up and gather parts for either the "top swap" or SSM90 kit...dont let people say SSM90 is no good i went 13.0 with it on just a 3.4 pulley and er rockers. ill be in the low 12's this season with it.

its not that the SSM90 kit isnt good, its just that you can get top swap parts for cheaper and have a better setup.

Everything but the HV3 you could use on a top swapped engine..........that would be the only waste of money that you couldnt transfer if you got to that point. You could always re sell it if you decided to top swap later....

^If that is your car, just leave it N/A, your gonna break ****.

If anything just get some basic bolt-ons.
