• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

1999 gtp

Re: 1999 gtp icm on firewall

almost done, I started the car today and it ran for about 15 seconds and died, so I took the wires back out and soldered everything. I used 18 gauge wire and
color coded my work, I used red on pins h-p and yellow on pins a-g. I had two white wires on pin A and E, so I had to figure out where they went, I opened up a wiring diagram and Pin E is not used. Pin A is the ignition control so if you do this don't mix them around. I have not fired it up yet because it is 2A.M. so hopefully this after noon it will be all back together and running. I may make a How to Thread on this if you guys want me to.

Have not posted in a while, seems like when i do someting good for my car, something bad happens. Im still dealing with my 4000 rpm missfire but im almost positve its the crank sensor, so im going to get a new one tomorrow and do a relearn on it. The good things that I did to the gtp was a wbody store fuel pump, exhaust tips, and new brakes all around, the bad things that happend my dad backed into my passanger side door, still missing at 4000 rpm, and i blown out a tire on my pregens:th_angry-cussing:

old door

new door with #23 spray painted racekar logo removed

new tips with some des moines iowa river flood action

So your dad backed into your door and bought you a black one to replace it? Is he gonna paint it? Last time I was at my local yard there was two grand prix there in your blue

Once again it has been awhile since I have posted.....
Anyway went to the junk yard today and found some 04+ needles. Must say they look amazing! But when i Shut the car off the Fuel gauge and Temp gauge go way low but when I start it they are right were they need to be. Also the MPH is about 2-3 miles off, but thats ok I have a gps and HUD for that!
