1999 GTP shifts odd under hard acceleration?

I noticed that when I push the accelerator to the floor the car will shift down and then immediately shift back up then back down again as if it can't find a right gear to stay in. what could this be? My car is the Series II Supercharged and just had a transmission installed on it last week
 


Topped off the fluid today and still does it.
Throttle position sensor also came back on AGAIN today. After I replaced the sensor the light came back on once more before today and I took off the sensor then put it back on and the issue went away. Now today I started having issues with the damn sensor again and it threw a CEL what a surprise. So tired of dealing with this POS sensor.
 
I sprayed carb cleaner in the throttle body and the car is running great again and the CEL immediately turned off
 


that doesnt mean you fix it, it was just tempory. replace the sensor..well check the code to make sure what it is and then go from there. the tps could be the culprit of the shift issue too.
 
Most likely your shifting issue is going to be related to that sensor. Check the wiring, ScottyDoggs has replaced soem connectors and wiring on his car due to brittle and issues being over the exhaust.
 
I have a 1999 GT 3.8L I had the same problem and found that there were several issues. TPS plug from the harness had a broken wire inside the plug connector" pen " 2nd Where the throttle body mounts there was a vacume leak between that and the gasket I used some permatex and it cleared up my problem.
