1999 GTP Dies once in a while HELP PLEASE

I recently purchased this grand prix and am having a problem with it shutting off randomly while city driving every 50-80 miles. So far I have bypassed the fuel pump resistor by bending over the prong on the relay, changed the fuel filter, and today changed the fuel pump with an OEM. 3 miles after installing the fuel pump it died again. There are no engine lights or codes in the computer and I dont really know where to go next. Other than that it runs great. Any help would be appreciated.

Forgot to say 2 times it died it started right back up, 2 times it didn't start foe 5 min or so

Does your tach go to zero before it dies? Could be crank sensor?

We're is it at on the motor and how hard is it to change?

Under the Harmonice balancer.

You can get at it from the pass side wheel well. You'll need a Hb puller to get it off.

Just an update I changed the crank sensor and have driven about 300 miles with no problems :th_laugh-lol3:
