dont over oil it, hell get rid of it, the oil is what fouls the maf wires and can lead to maf problems like you just had.

Go to the Zone and get a Spectra. They work just as good and I haven't had any mad problems since throwing my K&N away. Im pretty sure it was my fault for over oiling, but I like the cheap spectras.
