Hey Dan just curious about the install, sounds like your not gonna do it due to it needed a welded section. If it were not for this would you do it yourself? I just got a full Header back set up from ZZP, I really want to tackle it myself but im afraid of my car being out of commission for too many days as I will have to do it in my drive way and my dam HOA wont allow that (Boat is shoved in my garage) anyways I know its pretty simple to install but with my limited experience im pretty hesitant. Just curious about your thoughts on installing headers.
 
Give yourself a nice weekend and you can tackle the headers and name sure you have all the tools you need. Check out BillBoost37 write up and you could have it done in hours.

Personally. I would not do it myself.

I want everything done right for my car so i would still have it done by my typical mechanic, a buddy of mine, who is really cheap anyways.

If i was going to do myself, i would have someone local with me such as Josh (Iceman6669) and/or Jeremy (BoostenGTP) to help me out since they both have helped me multiple times in person with my car.
 


IIRC headers should only be a 4 hour job. So figure at least double that.. I m doing my own and am planning on a weekend..

But with Brando there you wouldn't need to jack up the car he can fit under no problem lol

Well after going through like a bajillion pages I finally found the tips that everyone was talking about and to be honest the are alright. Ive seen worse and personally wouldnt have them stick that far out on my car but its you car so its fine. haha

The funny part is, the tips are cut as short as possible and they are still that big.

I dont think they are as bad as everyone makes them seem. i like the dual look, i like the angle cut look, plus the chrome ties in with my rims, chrome grilles, and tail lights. It all flows together nicely.

People just like to pick on them because thats the only imperfection on my car. Other than that its flawless. LOL

what about the paint on the sd lip and bulbs by the gas cap... lol jk just messing with ya
