I hate the precut stuff seems to never been the exact size seems to come short however way you look at it but u do have a good idea. Try it out and if you decide to go that route see what a tint shop will charge just so it'll be done right without bubbles etc.

I've had crappy experience with it before. Rather have a actually sheet so there's room for errors etc and then once you get it how it to were your happy cut off the excess amount.

He doesn't like to talk about it, but those were his only options for tips he liked.

They were sold out of these.

hey man got through 20 pages of your build. keep up the good work

Re: 1997 Black GTP, She's Now A Snow Plow.

Finally got her washed. The Prix never fails to impress me, some how the paint stays in miraculous shape. Non-garaged car, and everytime i give it a standard wash, it shines right up.

I also have this problem, condensation is getting in this one tail light and its freezing. Im wondering if any of you know how to seal these better?

(And yes all LEDs work, just phone camera didnt capture it.)

I would return the taillights and have them exchanged. You could use either a black rtv silicon or window weld (known as butyl ) to seal them but I'm not sure if the aftermarket taillights are like the stock ones which need to be dremeled to get inside them.

Edit: those exhaust tips >_<

Re: 1997 Black GTP, She's Now A Snow Plow.

If they are under warranty I would see about getting them replaced, if not just seal them up. Clear silicone or that window sealant stuff

My lord i get, ive heard it hundreds of times about my exhaust tips.

Ive already said multiple times, im getting new ones later.

Sorry im getting a little upset but hear this non-stop and i have to constantly repeat myself.

Going to everyone, f*ck off about the tips. I get the point, they are starting to rust anyways so new ones will be in order sometime.

Perhaps silicon around the seal???

Ill have to take a closer look at it, and see what i can do.

They are non-returnable my parents said. Smh.

Ill have to find a way to seal them, with one of the products you listed.

Yup yup, just get a good size tube of sealant. Take the lights off and take them inside and let them dry thoroughly, don't want them to be air tight with condensation inside. Then run a solid bead of sealant anywhere it could leak from (where the lens meets the base, vent holes, cracks, etc...)

Re: 1997 Black GTP, She's Now A Snow Plow.

Oh... and I don't know if anyone had said anything about this, I just noticed myself.

You need new tips. :th_king-evil:
