Lol... That's kinda how I feel when I race Dan...

:quickhide:

Funny.

Sorry I havent a "Legit" tune like what you have.

I'm just hoping in June when Smuts is a pro tuner, I'll have a great tune with the Rocker setup. Should be relatively quick. I'll be bringing a 3.3 along too, depending how the car reacts to the 3.4.

Amen to that, brotha. I couldn't agree more.

Besides getting my Hood and Air Dam, this is my favorite. Im pretty excited to have them installed next month.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, With Some Go Fast Goodies.

good luck with the damper install. that **** is a pain in the ass taking off the front cover, hope you got new gaskets for that. mind as well change the front seal with the front cover off or you will likely get a leak after reinstall. drain the block completely or its gonna piss coolant from all the bolt holes.

seal the bolts with sealant when reinstalling. oh and yeah there are 3 different bolt lengths on that cover which makes it hell if you dont map out where you took them out

I'd reccomend not changing the front seal.
The harmonic balancer snout usually has a groove worn in it that matches that old front seal in the timing cover. Putting a new seal in can more often than not result in a leak...ask me how I know.
It's definetly something to look at when pulling the harmonic balancer, I ended up putting the balancer on a Lathe to polish out the groove in the snout to help geting it to seal up true.
I'd also go with a AC Delco front seal if you must change it.
The harmonic balancer gets pulled on crank position sensor jobs all the time and front cover oil seal doesn't get changed so why create possible problems for yourself.
I stress not changing the seal even more if you're running an intercooler or turbo and don't have a functional PCV
