Re: 1997 Black GTP, Don't Enter If You Get Butthurt.

I use gasoline on everything.

Hands dirty? Gasoline.

Need something cleaned? Gasoline.

Need to start a fire? Gasoline.

It's an amazing thing.

Why should I lie, I'm kinda the same way besides the hands part lol Gasoline is how I made my LIM spotless for painting LOL

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Don't Enter If You Get Butthurt.

I honestly have no idea. I've never used vht, it was my first time tinting.

But after what you said about the clear I'm thinking it could've been the rustoleum.

Heres what they looked like before the clear ****ed up and redoing it.

How did you get yours to come out so good using the Rustoleum?

I've always used VHT and its came out like glass. But this Rustoleum really blew it.

Also, question, you notice much of a difference from the Stock Gen III to Gen V?

Gasoline does work, but I'm a smoker. I can't be soaked in gasoline all the time

I sanded them with 2 thousand first, sprayed first coat very light, them heavier 2nd coat then another.

Not really much of a difference that I can tell, that's mainly because I'm stock and on stock pulley. The whine makes it worth the while. I feel I'm getting better mpg's though.

I've been thinking about getting a Gen V for the longest time.

But im only a 3.5 so I might not notice much a difference.

It would, you'd probably do okay on a Gen V since you're pig rich, it could help to lean it out just a tad. Some guy just sold one with the LIM on ClubGP for 200. Tried to get Josh to buy it but he said no lol

I don't have an account on ClubGP so I have no idea what's going on over there.

Here's what I'd like to do. Gen V, 1.9 RR, 90# Vs, 60# injectors, e85, and a tune.

Only reason I'd like to go e85 is because I have a gas station with it 5 minutes from my house. (Right across the street from Andrews shop).

I'd love to have NIC, S2IC, e85. With that setup I could run a 2" pulley LOL but if were being realistic, what I posted above is what I'd like to do in the near future.

Well then looks like you better start buying parts! Good thing about what you wanna do is you've only gotta pull the LIM off max for all that LOL

And take the VC's off to change the springs and rockers. Swapping springs would be the hardest part.

But we could do all of that in a full day.

As long as we don't break another rocker bolt.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Don't Enter If You Get Butthurt.

and now that we have access to a proper spring compressor we can rip em off in no time :D

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Don't Enter If You Get Butthurt.

Heads have to come off to use the valve spring compressor I have now....
