Did you like how the numbers on the alingment screen went all crazy when you made the lock nuts glow red??


I hate using the torch because then I have to make the parts move then spray them down with pb blaster or something and wait for them too cool before I can finish the alignment.

YES.

Got them glowing red, just barely broke them free. Waited for them to "cool" then spun the inner tie rod / moved the lock nut more if needed.

We saw each other very briefly on Saturday during the meet. I was smoking Hookah with Anmar, Nawar, Brandon, and Max. You showed up for about 1 minute then left.

That's what I thought too!

This is why I haven't made a lamp out of it yet, because it be a perfect hood prop. Didn't want my hood fully open because all the paint is chipping on the engine bay.

You would know if it was me! I went over there to see anmar when they were doing awards. I wore a blue nike hoodie for a bit, then took that off and had a grey tshirt on

Now that I think of it, it was your brother that came by yesterday when I was with Anmar, Nawar, Brandon, and Max.

Too bad we didn't actually hangout at the meet, though. I was with Joey about 99% of the time. The one time you went to see Joey, was the one time I wasn't with him. Go figure.

Found the leak in my A/C system. Was leaking out of a weld on the compressor muffler. Stupid line cost $70 from NAPA, but it sure is nice having cold Air Conditioning again. Money well spent.





New line in:


Buddy of mine had a 3.2 laying in his trunk. Decided to put it on the car to see how it reacted. Damn thing has 0 KR on this 3.2 pulley. 16* Timing, 0 KR, 12.5 psi at the shifts. Car is running rich, so I'm assuming that's why I have no knock. Car pulls like a motherf*ker now though, and I like it.

Do you have a vacuum pump and gauge set to recharge the system, or did you have to pay to have that done? I'll probably be doing some AC work in the future, and I'm curious what others have done.

That same line on mine broke too, 2 days before the meet. By the time I got to Royal Oak it wasn't leaking anymore... Was it a pain to get out/in? Looks like 3 bolts.

At my school I have a Snap-On A/C Machine. It can Recover, Vacuum, Leak Test, and Recharge the system. I got to use it for free. So I recovered any of R-134A in the System, removed the line, installed new line, put a vacuum to the system for 20 minutes, then added 1.90 Pounds of R-134A. Checked for leaks on more time with the UV Light and all was good.

Not at all. Super simple fix. It's just 3 bolts and the line pulls right off. You'll just need an extension to get to one bolt (Makes it easier, at least).
