I havent been doing much to my car lately and its getting winter time in iowa so I was thinking I might start a thread on my 1991 chevy silverado z71. It has 156,000 miles with the 5.7 350, the truck has never left me stranded any where the only thing iv had to do to it is put a new water pump on it. I love it it was my first truck ever then I got my GP and now that the gp is running good for right now I am driveing and working on, what i like to call my project.

Love these trucks. I have had a 1995 GMC Sierra 2500 ext cab short bed "heavy half" on 35's 7 inches lift Dynomax exhaust
1991 Chevy silverado 1500 reg cab short bed all the Lund assesories and glasspack exhaust on 31's and the most recent one I had was a 1989 Silverado 1500 reg cab long bed on 33"s 3inch lift, true dual 2.5" Dynomax bullets, headers, RV cam, built 700r4... Love them 88-98 Chevys!
 
I've got a bone stock 1991 Chevy 1500 with 215000 miles on it. Its got a few problems now but I ain't got the money to fix it up. Also could use a little body and interior work,

That 350 is one of my favorite engines it is starting to hold low oil psi but I love her my dad got her when I was born and he wants to scrap it. I told him no way it has personal value. I love it (:

Saved another one. You still see them around but around here buying one is getting hard.
 
Yup, little bit of body work and good to go. Parts for these trucks are cheap in TX.

Here is my 94 Z71, wish I kinda kept it. Traded it for a mustang then traded the stang for the GTP

Wow nice truck love it man, I think I might go to school for auto body so i can do my truck and gp then work for a body shop. This is my favorite body style of chevy/gmc truck
