17X9 Bullits

I found a good deal on some 17x9 mustang bullit wheels. Tire size is 245,45,17. Would these fit on my 97 GTP? Its lowered on GMPP springs. And without rolling the fenders. Thanks guys.

They should fit fine, I'm lowered on Vogtlands with 245 50 17s on my bullits. I can't remember if mine are 8 or 9 inch rims though. 245 45 17 is shorter than stock, so you're fine.

most of the 17" bullitts that come off the mustangs are 17x8.

might want to make sure they're not the 17x9 +24mm sets because those are probably gonna fit like crap. they'll stick out pretty far.

What's the offset though? These are 17x8, I dunno how it'd look if they stuck out any further...

I asked the seller and he dosn't know what the offset is. So i guess its whatever the 17x9 bullit factory offset is. They came off an 2003.

From what I've read All the Mustangs from 01-05 only came in 17x8. I could be wrong though. I'm trying to find some more info on it.

And just as a confirmation on stickout, here are my 17x6.5 at +27mm. Imagine 3mm more offset and 1.25 more inches in each direction. The rears are even cambered because they hadn't been aligned yet since being lowered, and they still stick out.

He should just have to look on the inside of one of the spokes or in the wheel and it should tell him the offset I would imagine

not to thread jack but does anyone know where i can get some punisher centercaps for these particular rims ....getting tired of people pointing out they say ford lol

OK thanks to everyone who replied. So basically the 17x9's would be too wide and stick out too far? So i should be looking for either 17x8 or 18x8? Nothing wider than 8" for my 97 GTP? THnx

that's not what we said.

we need to know all of the specs of the wheel, not just diameter and width.

just found out he sold them.. Oh well. I guess i will be looking for some 17x8 bullitts since those seem to be the go to size? Or would 18x8 be better

Like I said, I've never seen 17x9s come off a Mustang of that era. In bullits, at least. 18s will be more expensive on tires, and look a bit better, but that's about it.
