105# Springs or 130# for a XP Hot Cam?

Also need to keep in mind that double rollers have a life as well... Especially with 130's and up. They have been known to stretch over time, abuse, etc.

do a double roller. you never know where your build will end up. I just snapped my single roller on my xp cam twincharge

Ouch! guess i will be grabbing a double roller timing chain then...130#springs would be ideal with the double roller right? how much upper rpm's to expect? i know not much but everything helps right?

I think you should ask yourself what you want from the car and motor in the future. Do you want a quick daily driver or a little faster weekend car or a race car that you trailer to the track? The bigger the build the less dependable. Try to match your build to your long term goals. Just my 2 cents...

If the car is your daily driver just go with 105's, a new stock chain setup and raise the idle to around 900rpm. It will be more than fine for a good, long time.

Yeah I do want a dd but a nice track car to run 12's you know beat some gto's camaros chargers I guess I will go 130# springs with the double roller

Then get a much bigger cam than the xp, some ported heads to compensate the cam, convert to E85, a built trans, and run a tiny ass pulley.
