so I've got a 98gtp 104's, 3"dp, open cone, 3.4mps, 180° tstat and 1.0 pcm. is 1.3° of kr ok to deal with until I get headers and 1.9rr?

Its probly only when it shifts. If your worried about it throw some octane booster in when you fill up, problem solved.

I use to see blips of up to 3* on my cammed/gen V 3.4 setup. I always felt some was false however... I wouldn't worry about anything under 2* if it comes and goes... If you have consecutive KR throughout the rpm range, then it may be something to look into.

Octane booster is pretty awesome. Alot of octane booster out there will get you up over 98 octane pretty easily.

^ How much is a lot? a couple gallons? Octane booster is usually stated to add somewhere around 7 to 9 "points" of octane from one bottle. That means you go from 93, to 93.7

by alot I meant "a lot of" brands will actually do a good job of raising octane, while others will play the "points" game and raise you .xxx octane... NOS brand typically lives up to the 5-6 octane gain it adverts, so 93+6 = 99 octane... I have used some stuff guys run in offshore cigerette boats and stuff too, that is pretty good although I forget the brand (it wasnt too cheap either).

Lol octane booster... Ill be honest if I see less then 2 and its not consistent I don't even care. I run a 2.8" setup and I regularly see 2* on shifts. I just say "**** you" and keep going.... ask SnowTh1ef. He is running a bastard 3.4 setup tuned on a narrowband with literally no supporting mods other then e85 and injectors on a fully ported blower... Oh did I forget to mention ITS A HIGH COMPRESSION TOP SWAP?!?! Bursts of Kr are part of his daily drive. It scares me. Stupid Bonneville.

That will do nothing

Really?

This^ i am showing knock on my car due to dropping the pully and not retuning yet. I was getting 3-4 degrees, threw in a bottle of offroad nos and kr gone.I work at parts store and i sell the stuff for 19 bucks but my cost is 8 so **** it, for now on fill ups ill throw that in untill the tune.
