06 GXP...NOS+E85+V8= fun

Re: 06 GXP....Alot of mods...Alot of them

been over a month since you updated thread....i got on expecting lots of ****

Re: 06 GXP....Alot of mods...Alot of them

so a brief update on what ive been up too.

of course its all DIY lol i dont order **** cause im to cheap lol.
so i started work with the rear underbody diffuser it only shows up in black and whit but the general idea here..

then moved alon to my custom adjustable rear STB i made.

completed my FWI setup shown here

i then made a custom rear motor mount out of the left over poly i had

changed out my 350#12' springs for 10"450 springs...love it..

and today i ditched the tube fin trans cooler for a police package oil cooler i had laying around---reason being its bar plate more efficent and the cores are way bigger than the old trans cooler i was using, its also mounted in a better position and allows more fluid.

This oil cooler is working out really nice over the super huge tube fin cooler I had. next project will be relocating that ratched power steering tank and also adding a real power steering cooler.

Cause the factory one is a joke and hell its not even exposed to air to cool....and plus I have one laying around so figured why not.
Are you gonna cam that thing or what?
eventually when I get the parts on hand and some decent down time.

Re: 06 GXP....Alot of mods...Alot of them

just updating with my last mod. cut rewelded the OTTO front STB to fit on the gxp, thing made a noticeable diffrence and feels alot better taking hard corners.

Re: 06 GXP....Alot of mods...Alot of them

So got frustrated wrapping up the dumb Nissan timing chain today and decided I wanted to relocate my pcm and clean up the engine bay a little here's a carnage picture. Will be making some brackets for my catch cans to attach to as well.

Re: 06 GXP....Alot of mods...Alot of them

Didn't have the time to keep peeli g the harness apart to get it cleanly on the strut tower and keep it from messing with the air intake. I'll take another stab in the future. So for now just welded a bracket onto the radiator clip. Looks clean and keeps it out the way
