• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Re: 06 GXP...retros done

Glad you painted the shroud. Looks 10x better and it's not so much BLAM in your face.

Lol yea I kno if I could've popped the shroud completely off I would've done a smoked carbon fiber look but oh well

Re: 06 GXP...retros done

Just got done with my install however i used a diffrent approach i used a L shaped bracket from steel i got at home depot. took the lower bumper bracket support bolt off (13mm) and installed it there. the two two 90 degree fittings came from ace hardware. side note: tourqe these fitting as hard as you can!! and use the thread tape or some type of sealant on the threads!!

9'in piece of steel 2x m6x1.0 bolts hold the housing to the bracket

no bumper removal neccesary. added benefit of fresh air smacking the housing will help keep the fluid cooler as well. you will also need about a quart of fluid.

For high flow applications, the Wix 51970 / Fram 3612 will flow more than three times what a Wix 51515 / Fram PH8A will.
