Doorman just came out with a brand new "ls6" intake for 300.. Also remeber its just as easy to use a ls2 manifold cause everything bolts right up. Youre call though. Only thing that really is the PITA is the ****in alternator bracket hacking. But it can be done while the bracket is on the engine.

If I wouldn't have got the manifold for free fitty then I might have gone that route. I already have a guy making me a TB adapter, and I'm sure the alt bracket won't be much of an issue, I'll just cover everything up.

Do you have a lifter tray cover you recommend, and do I really have to re-weld that plug after hacking it off or can I just remove it since I already have DOD disabled?

Yea u really gotta reweld that plug. BTW I have a valley tray I'll sell ya. It's 91parkaves I bought off him.

Why the tb adapter you know you can use the ls6 throttle body (dbw) for a direct bolt on.

Wiring has always just been done in the garage.

Kudos for you for doing the IM swap. I've been trying to get ahold of Nathan Picot, who first did the LS6 swap. He lives only about a half hour away from me.
I'm too much of a wuss to attempt it myself, so we'll see. I'm not familiar with LS motors and VLOMs, etc....
