• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

All finished ready to drop in!!!

I forget (or didn't read) did you put the higher pressure oil pump spring in? Or add a washer to the stock on to pre-load it?

Oh and needs more CS144 alternator, lol. I had to for Red's sake.

No i didnt and yeah i need a high amp altenator... But guess what.. I got a alt power cable so i dont need one!! Lol

What's so fantastic about it is the fact that it's part of the CS144 swap already done, lol. Now you just need the alternator, 99 Camaro bracket, the plug and bolts, and possibly a belt. One of my favorite things about the swap, you can take the rear valve cover off with taking the alternator bracket off, lol.

I need to make a thread for this upgrade, I swear. Nothing like ~140a at idle, lol.

You've got my interest... I'll be waiting for your write-up. What alternator do you recommend? I searched and seen a bunch all at varying prices. Is this something that can be pulled at a yard?

Ugh, lol. I'll get to it tomorrow or this weekend. 1998 Lesabre for the alternator, but I'll elaborate more on it in the write up. For the record I have mine upgraded to 200a with a smaller pulley on it. Very easy to upgrade and cost about $100 or so.
