Re: StoneGrey Metallic 04 gt2

It has ram air intake as you can see and i replaced the spark plugs when i got it. When i took them out it look as though they had never been changed the rear rotors were half way ground down so those had neer been changed the front ones had been changed recently though and the previouse owner kept the fluids filled thats about it it had 116,000 when i got it it now has 122,500 on it it has blue leds on the underside and rear. Light bars at the feet in the front and back. All lights are hard wired in and the inside and outside have there own toggle switches. New tensioner pully and assembly with aluminum coolant elbows put in.
still to come
HV3, Exhast, Spoiler, 160 degree thermostat, new dog bones, new engine mounts, HUD unit and controls, new tires, led lights for intior, blue spark plug wires, 25% window tint on the front 2% on the rear windows(there used to be 2% all around had to peel it off cause of a ticket still on back window)and roof rails

Re: StoneGrey Metallic 04 gt2

160* tstat is too cold, most ppl do 180 but IMO thats not even neccesary unless ur drag racing, HV3 is a good mod with headers/intake and a tune, but im liking the grey and blue combo, needs moar low!

Re: StoneGrey Metallic 04 gt2

working on her and thanks for the advice ill switch to a 180 tstat its 200 right now and i think it sites to hot at idle and stop and go traffic. What heads would you suggest im not looking for super expencive? i kinda started this thread so i could learn from other peoples experiance too

Re: StoneGrey Metallic 04 gt2

For some reason i feel as if i've seen that engine bay picture before...

Oh wait , its been in about 15 other threads on this forum.

Re: StoneGrey Metallic 04 gt2

yea lol i went over board and got carried away with it the other day sorry about that

Re: StoneGrey Metallic 04 gt2

i was thinking that it would be cool but probubly wouldnt be able to suck in air as fast as whats being shoved in right now

Re: StoneGrey Metallic 04 gt2

i read alot of that and the next thing i think im going to be doing is an hv3 insert and was wanting to get peoples thoughts on it and how it works ive tryed reading and people just say its easy to install and helps but what does it do to be adding 30 more hp

Just stick with what you have.

Want more performance HV3, Plog, Tune, 180Tstat. Keep your intake. Make sure maintenance is up to date, ER rockers

Or skip all that

And

Turbo

Or topswap

Re: StoneGrey Metallic 04 gt2

and exhast system is after that or should i do exhast first either way there both getting done next and should i get it tuned after those mods are done or can it wait for a little bit?

Re: StoneGrey Metallic 04 gt2

180 tstat was just put in today and what is a plog im really new to this **** i do alot of reading on here though and some of the terms are lost on me

do need to do rockers right away when i do the other mods

A plog will cover your exhaust performance for you. Your n/a no need to go and spend money on the exhaust unless your looking for a different sound. Hint 3800 sound bad anyways with most exhaust so skip all that. Stock exhaust doesn't start out flowing itself until its around 300hp+ you won't get that with a n/a set up.

Wait and get it all tuned at once. No sense in paying to have retune for every additional mod you add.

Re: StoneGrey Metallic 04 gt2

i was thinking turbo later down the road can i do that with hv3 and rockers or do i need to do one or the other
