Your valve covers are bad. That is why there is oil all over the place.
All the 180T stat does is hurt your gas mileage.

Colder engine gets worse gas mileage than warmer engine. Just google it if you want the technical reasons why.
Yes, they are cheep on Rock Auto so are the metal lim gaskets. Here is a video showing how to replace them, some of the stuff will be slightly different cuz they are working on a GTP but for the most part they are the same. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2ZbFwTNjhg

I honestly can't really tell if they are the plastic ones until the LIM is wiped clean. If the gaskets are black, they're plastic...if gray/silver...then they're aluminum and you're good to go. Durk's right on the VC's, but those are easy to do...and then...you can paint them like you wanted while they are off. For the bracket, hell you can have the damn thing...just let me make sure I didn't toss it when I did the big garage clean out, LOL.

hey thanks blue. so had my first check engine light one whoooooo hooooo..........not :th_thumb-down: turns out though it was jus a simple wire to plug in. I forgot to plug back in the evap system. It was throughing 7 different codes now one is left had it check guy said it was something to do with either my gas door wasnt closed all the way or something to do with the fuel line

i think it was the nascar verson. okay so got first check engine light yeaaa..... not
feeling like a true gp owner now lol. checked it out guy said it had to do with something like the evaporation system or something or i had a leak some were in my gas line or my gas cap was open. (Last time i got a code like this was my cavalier and its gas cap was broke and didnt close right got new cap fixed it.) so checked my gas cap it was on tight was cleaning around the fuel injectors and and tb was doing some could i have bumped one wrong and caused this code and what can i do to fix it so my light goes off so i dont have to run a scan ever few days just to make sure nothing else is wrong

so that came from a truck got it wired in and everything so excited about it tested it tonight its bright as f*ck. im going to change it to a very bright blue led but if i cant find an led bright enough going to just keep the white its bright enough i could do any work in the dark or just show off the engine nice at night

hey i also see you polished your tips looks good thanks for the help and yea i plan on 2k sanding then first coats 2k agian secound coat 3k clear 3k clear 3k clear and then 3k agian and then some seriouse buffing compound and alot of buffing and elbow greas(or just skip the elbow grease and use my grandfathers buffing wheel) and see how that turns out.
