04 Grand Prix Comp G...4x4 FTW

Re: 2004 Grand Prix WS6

new almost 5-6 months ago....$460 to my door, couldn't pass it up at the time...since I have no cat/resonator theres a bit more drone than I expected, but that should be cured once I get the custom fabwork done on the downpipe....and I'm anal about the stock struts with over 80k on em....so decided to spend the $800 on the full set up....:th_doh:
from what website for exhaust? N get coilovers! Haha.

Re: 2004 Grand Prix WS6

if this wasn't my DD, I'd be all over Coilovers, ha...and @ the time JEGS....but you can find the SLP exhuast on plenty of sites...
Thanks for the info, n I'd like to ride in one with coilovers to see how they ride. My buddy has a Subaru with some. But I hear ya on the dd man, I'm in the same boat.

^^^ordered new slotted rotors, and wondering if I should venture into the world of silver calipers....:th_scratchhead:

Re: 04 Grand Prix Comp G...New Wheels....4x4 FTW

The ride looks really good right now, silver would pop, but not sure if it would clash or not.

Re: 04 Grand Prix Comp G...New Wheels....4x4 FTW

Magnum calipers... but you get the idea. Also I will say there is a lot of time involved in doing this, but well worth the outcome.

Clear coat my friend. Wax em up, should be just as easy to take care of as the red.

Re: 04 Grand Prix Comp G...New Wheels....4x4 FTW

Nice I seen you commented on a post saying you used this instead of armor all. I get the too shiney n greasy look. I like they way yours comes out. Not too shiney but not dull either. Good job

yea, u literally put it on and buff it off...no greasy residue, almost like the leather just absorbs it....plus it has a really good natural leather smell...

Re: 04 Grand Prix Comp G...New Wheels....4x4 FTW

Just got done with some Meguiars Gold Class myself, looks about the same.
What brand wheels are those? They look really good.
as far as the caliper...since black rims prolly silver or black

Thx...Theyre MSRs......as far as the calipers, I'm torn between a gloss.silver, or body color<<<which is pricey but what I'm leaning towards

Re: 04 Grand Prix Comp G...New Wheels....4x4 FTW

Might as well leave them as is or paint them silver. Its not like they're big brakes so no point in spending more then a few bucks spicing them up. Now if you upgraded to fbodys or ctsv then by all means show then off.
