'04+ gauges in a '99?

Is it possible to put the '04 and up gauges in my '99 GTP? Are the plugs the same or close enough to change even if the fit might be off a little? I'm really good at fiberglass and could easily make a new dash cover for them.

i think this has been discussed before but im not sure. i want to say no. at least not plug and play. you could probably get a wiring diagram and wire it yourself to make it work.

might want to change your post title. i read it and though it meant fitting the dash from the 04+ into the earlier models. not just the gauge cluster.

Well I searched, but didn't find anything close, just a bunch of random posts with gauges in them... I hate search. You can never find what your looking for as most people type in different words to the same thing, and if it's not 100% the same, you can't find what your looking for.
 
Also keep in mind the odometer in the 04+ was in the DIC, not the gauge cluster. So even if you managed to get the 04 cluster to work, I dont know where you would store your odometer reading.

Might be easier to buy a 04+ car and live with the ugly exterior...

He's already got ug ug the exterior. An 04+ would be a huge upgrade in all departments :th_nanana:
