Lame and your positive it'll do the job
About damn timeAnd you'll be happy to know, Red, that my parts hoarding for lowering starts tonight
I have that, works well but in my opinion it is going in the wrong direction if considering replacing the radio. Factory Nav is outdated and finicky, and only feature that a good aftermarket will not do better is integrate with the HUD. Be sure it will on yours also as 04 never came with factory Nav so there could be more to it. My Kenwood has Garmin which is far superior to factory Nav, also Bluetooth, DVD and HDMI and back up camera .No regrets at all on my purchase. Weigh all your options carefully.
The HUD integration is the only reason I wanted it, I could hook up my phone as a GPS if I wanted and my original stereo works fine
Thanks! And the guy I bought it from had it in his 04, it comes with the GPS antenna and the adapter for the steering wheel controls. I am going to have to have it unlocked, though. The reason I went this route was because I'm trying to keep everything as factory-installed appearing as possible. That's why I went with Pontiac wheels when I replaced the originals rather than the 18" aftermarket rims everyone goes for. I even set up my Aeroforce to match my gauge cluster. A stock Nav unit just kind of kept with the theme of apparent-originality, I guess. I know it's dumb, and I probably wouldn't go this route were it any other car, but straying too far from original on what was my grandma's car almost seems sacreligious, if that makes any sense
