02 GTP vs tacoma TRD supercharged

last night on the way home from work i had a lil fun with this dude, we got on the gas at around 65mph til 120, we stayed pretty damn even the whole time... my exit came up we threw deuces and that was it. not sure if he was modded other than being boosted... all i have is a CAI and 3 in downpipe.
 


im not too sure it was getting dark, all i know is that it had the hood scoop and TRD stickers on the bed.... def was supercharged.
 
i searched for pics of what it looked like... i think 99prixtgt was right the pics i found of the body style have "Tacoma X" labeled on them....so im assuming it was a tacoma X runner
 


wow.. i can't believe you didn't run away from that thing... they're only putting out 236hp, and i would think our cars are lighter..

Yeah I guess those are a little more aerodynamic, but 120mph? Damn...It looks like that one has Headers,Exhaust,TRD ECU Reflash,and a clutch...ran into the 13s, preety ******* impressive though.

He ran a 15.3@90mph stock...not too bad at all.

A CAI,downpiped GTP should at least put a car especially at high speeds on that Tacoma. Good run none the less.

Screw that Toyota jap crap. Race a SVT Lightning. That's a real truck. It'll bend you over.
 


Good run. My cousin has the V8 Tundra and its pretty quick I raced him and it was close when I was stock. He has been looking into supercharging it. I believe when we went to the track he ran like a 15.3 I know thats not OMG FAST! But for a HUGE truck I don't think its to bad!
