G6's GT's are A LOT slower than even a stock GP GTP. Nice kill.
wouldnt that be a g6 gxp? he is talking about the g6 gt with 3.5l.Apparently you've never had a stock GTP run a 3.6 DOHC VVT car. It'd be a close race down low till they hit the highway and I'd bet money on it the G6 would start pulling.

you just blew my mind
2006 g6 gt is a 3.5l with 200hp, same as 06+ impala's,
g6 gt is 3.9l with 240 hp, or if its a convertable 227hp cause more restrictive exhaust systems(so i read with quick search on google) and i see 3:69 gear ratio!!?
some more reading says 2009 3.5l got 220hp..? change something? and 3:29 gear ratio
im gonna race me one on these grocery getters with my grocery getter one day!

just cant believe every engine pretty much had every badge, kinda makes them hard to tell apart. That was hard to follow?
Thanks for the posts.
Still a G6.
Still no care.
Yep putting it short G6 are gay.
GP>G6 3800>3900
How bout them G8s they are waaayyy better than g6. G8>G6
Yeah they are gay. Not sure why he was trying to defend them.
Apparently I HAVE driven both cars stock (07 and 09 G6 GT's and several stock GP GTP's) and there is no comparison, especially down low. It would be a better race for a stock N/A GP GT. A stock GP GTP makes around 270-280 torque at the wheels. That 3.5 liter (not 3.6) VVT V6 is FAR cry from that. Hell even the G6 GTP's struggle to get into the high 14's stock. Most are 15's. And they need nitrous to run mid-high 13's.
at the wheels eh?
I was trying to defend nothing for the G6 and everything about the 3.6 DOHC motor.
Keep on going.
