the transmission slips sometimes and you can give it more gas and itll engage and you can also use manual and itll engage fine. ive been told the problem is the torque converter, any opinions or advice?

Change the fluid and filter, but you probably need a new tranny.

Where does it slip, under power, or from stops etc?
