• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

02 Chevy Venture

I'd wonder about the vacuum leak personally. You said it was fine until the motor smacked the firewall. To me ..that's a huge symptom that you should tell the mechanic when you first drop it off.

It did not "smack" the firewall. It rocked back but not enough to smack it. This has already been known to the mechanic. I can't figure out if it is a vac leak where it would come from.

From where though? I have looked under the hood multiple times and can't find anything. It is hard because it only runs rough when it is being driven. Thinking about calling another mechanic who found out what was wrong with our Mazda before we sold it.

You can't possibly find the vacuum leak on teh backside of the motor. It's impossible to see that side w/o removing the motor..

That is what I am seeing or not seeing lol....

I miss my GP. I have been driving the Venture so if it breaks down it will be me and not my wife and 3yr old

It felt rough to me. I had another mount go bad and it didnt't feel/sound like this so i did not think it was another mount. It was a rear mount. It now works like it should.
