Taking out a gas tank? 1999 pontiac grand prix gt.



Its probably fairly straight forward. I've never done it on a grand prix before but on most cars your gonna want to open the fuel pump access cover (in the trunk behind the seat) disconnect the fuel pump wiring and fuel lines. Then loosen the hose clamps for the filler neck tube and vent tube. Then at one end of each of the straps there should be a bolt. loosen it and drop it down.

Also if you run your tank down to like 1/8th before you do this it will make it much easier
