Okay update on the regal. Not good. Had bullet holes going thru the fender and trunk, missing a door trim piece, some white specks in random places, and a very big deep scratch in the paint. Coolant and brake fluid murky, leaky VC gaskets, and generally dirty as hell.

I doubt this is good news on the tranny- codes P0741 - Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off and I got a P0742 Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Circuit Stuck On From PCM

And the fluid was filled to the full mark with the engine off.

Maybe the overfill is triggering the codes?

Either way, it was a bit more of a beater than I expected.

Yep. Not worth the tow or trouble... Unless the tranny was fine but I ain't goin back to the hood to try an find out

If the fluid showed full with the engine off it was low. Try resetting the codes and taking it for a drive it might be ok. Offer $400 and see what he says. Hell for $400 I'd buy it for a parts car.

I believe he's a member on here I've seen that regal a few times.
